SPE2101 Safety, Injuries and Rehabilitation

This course involves skill of prevention, care, safety and treatment. It also develops awareness of risky situations that may lead to injury and accidents, and provides solutions in case of injury during lesson.

Course objectives
By the end of the unit, students should be able to;

• To attain practical skill of prevention, care, safety and treatment. 
• Identify the common types of injuries in physical education and sports
• To development awareness of risky situations that may lead to injury and accidents in P.E Lessons
• To provide solutions in case of injury during P.E lessons.

Learning outcomes
By the end of the course the student should be able to:

• Demonstrate skills of prevention care and safety in sports
• Display awareness of the common injuries in physical education and sports
• Provide solutions in case of injuries during lesson.
