Busitema University Fund  (SMC) Limited is a private arm of the University that started operating on 3rd October in 2018 and  Busitema  University Council is its  sole owner. The Tenure has stood up for a taste of time i.e. for Four (4) years. The company is located in Busia, Busitema sub-county in Busitema University grounds along Tororo - Kampala Highway.

The company’s purpose is to utilize the assets of the University to generate revenues to subsidize government funding. The company manages the University’s extensive assets which include; properties, projects and enterprises either directly or indirectly through subsidiaries.
