Course Description
This course provides thorough training in essential maritime safety procedures, including STCW-certified programs such as Elementary First Aid at Sea, Basic Firefighting, Personal Survival Techniques, and Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities. Through hands-on instruction and practical exercises, participants develop the confidence and skills required to respond effectively to emergencies at sea. By mastering these critical areas, individuals are equipped to ensure safety and uphold regulatory compliance in maritime operations with assurance and proficiency.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course, a student can:

  • Apply immediate first aid in the event of an accident or illness on board (Learn basic medical first aid skills and CPR techniques with a focus on maritime situations).
  • Apply fire identification, prevention and detection, and firefighting skills
  • Gain basic survival knowledge and skills for overcoming common emergencies at sea (Including locating supplies and emergency craft and rescue boats, operating life-saving equipment and procedures for abandoning ship).
  • Demonstrate workplace relationships, safe work environments, personal care, and more.
